Trial Database: Psychological Experiments Online

January 31, 2014

VCU Libraries offers a trial use of Psychological Experiments Online through March 27.

All students, faculty and staff may access Psychological Experiments Online by going directly to:http://search.alexanderstreet.com/pexp.

Psychological Experiments Online pairs audio and video recordings of quintessential experiments in psychology with thousands of pages of primary-source documents. It's packed with exclusive and hard-to-find materials, including notes from experiment participants, journal articles, books, field notes, and final reports in topics from obedience to authority and conformity to operant conditioning.

According to the resource's website: "Psychological Experiments Online is a multimedia collection that synthesizes the most important psychological experiments of the 20th and 21st centuries, fostering deeper levels of understanding for students and scholars alike. These experiments have far-reaching impacts on fields as diverse as sociology, business, advertising, economics, political science, law, ethics, and the arts."

Feedback: If you want to offer feedback or recommend a project for a future trial, please contact Collection Analysis and Investment at ulscm@vcu.edu.
