The African-American experience has been largely shaped by religious leaders who were historically some of the most influential members of their communities. African-American Religious Leaders is a biographical reference book that examines the lives of well-known figures such as Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, J. W. C. Pennington, and Sojourner Truth.
