Coming Soon: New Technology Resources for Collaborative Work
Beginning the week of March 3, the large group study room on the first floor of Cabell Library will be closed temporarily for renovations. VCU Libraries is adding technology resources to this space to support students with the development of presentations and other collaborative work. The goal of the renovations project is to provide students the ability to both practice and record presentations. When the renovations are completed, the room will contain the following:
- a motorized screen and projector
- a podium with a microphone and touch panel control system
- wall-mounted camera and speakers
For those seeking alternative locations for group study, additional study rooms are available on the third floor. The Linden Group Study Zone on the second floor is also available for group study.
