VCU Libraries announces the addition of CINAHL Plus with Full Text to its collection of databases. CINAHL Plus is the enhanced online edition of CINAHL, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. With full text coverage of more than 620 journals, CINAHL Plus provides a multidisciplinary approach to the literature of nursing and allied health fields such as dental hygiene, medical laboratory technology, occupational therapy, physical therapy and many others. The database contains 600,000 full text articles as well as citations to articles dating back to 1937, searchable cited references, legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. It also indexes publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association. New in this version of CINAHL are Evidence-Based Care Sheets, Quick Lessons (summaries of diseases and conditions) and over 200 full text books. Search results from CINAHL Plus can be directly exported to RefWorks. A list of titles covered along with information about full text is available from EBSCO Publishing.
