In June, Cabell Library will add 8 new study tables and 32 seats on the first floor. These new furnishings are designed to provide students and faculty with additional work space for laptop computing, use of the Libraries' print collections and general study. The new space is along the Cathedral Place wall and features natural light and an attractive view. The additional floor space is the result of a consolidation of the Current Periodicals collection and the removal of shelving.
