Creative and Energetic Undergrads Wanted

Calling undergraduates who love the library, have great ideas, and have a heart to serve! Recruitment is underway for the Cabell Library Undergraduate Advisory Committee (CLUAC). CLUAC members attend monthly meetings, participate in library service activities, advise the library on important services, write articles for the CLUAC newsletter, and much more. In exchange for attending all meetings and fulfilling service requirements, members earn an honorarium at the end of the academic year. Meetings are held on Fridays from 1 - 2:30 p.m. once a month.

Members contribute in a variety of ways. Last year, CLUAC members:
- wrote a monthly newsletter
- requested blinds for the 1st floor study rooms
- assisted with library tours
- attended "behind the scenes" tours of library offices
- greeted guests at lectures and events

Students that have what it takes to help make Cabell Library a great place for undergraduates, should apply today. An application with more information can be found online. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, August 29th. Why not submit the application right now?
