Dr. Claudia Thomas
will present "Overcoming Life's Challenges and Championing Diversity," on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 5:00 pm in the Hermes A. Kontos Medical Sciences Building Auditorium. Dr. Thomas was the first African-American female orthopaedic surgeon in the United States, the 2008 recipient of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Diversity Award, and is the author of God Spare Life.
