VCU Libraries recently subscribed to Synthesis Digital Library of Engineering and Computer Science. Synthesis is a revolutionary new collection of e-books containing dynamic presentations of key research and development topics written by leading engineers and scientists in the field, including VCU authors. Synthesis coverage ranges from core undergraduate course topics to specialized upper-division and graduate level topics in biomedical, environmental, and electrical engineering, as well as the state of the art in computer science and engineering research from academic, corporate, and governmental laboratories. Synthesis I & II won the 2008 American Society for Engineering Education Best Reference Work Award. Synthesis lectures are delivered in PDF format with unlimited simultaneous access and no digital rights management restrictions. Individual titles can be searched in the VCU Libraries catalog.
