In observation of Earth Day (April 22, 2010), VCU Libraries and University Student Commons & Activities (USC&A Programs) present the 2008 film "Recipes for Disaster." Film description from their Web site: "An Anglo-Finnish filmmaker and his family embark on a year-long 'oil diet,' aiming to reduce their consumption of petroleum-based products in hopes of minimizing their contribution to greenhouse gases."
