The session will look at the important issue of child maltreatment and what can be done to prevent it.  It is an important issue because of the long term effects it can have on a child well into adulthood.  This session will primarily focus on the epidemiology and costs of child maltreatment, the need for partnerships, and the potential for policy interventions to combat this issue.
