A couple of weeks ago a nurse midwife came to speak at the VCU School of Nursing and has had me thinking a great deal about maternal and child health when it comes to giving birth. In doing some reading on the topic, I came across this episode of 20/20 that discusses the topic and because nurses play such an integral role in the process I thought that I would pass the link along.
