 Well December has arrived and the dogs days of exams, papers and just getting things wrapped up for the semester are here. Things here at the library are winding down as well but I am still here to help if you need it, and if I am not around one of the other librarians can help as well. Even with the winding down of the semester, there are still things going on at the library as you can read below.   I hope everyone has a good holiday break and I look forward to seeing you around campus next semester.


Tompkins-McCaw Library Closed for Holidays - December 23, 2011 - January 2, 2012

                                                                                                                              
Extended Hours at TML during Exams

clock.pngIn order to give students a place to study and prepare for exams, Tompkins-McCaw library is going be open extended hours for students from December 4th - 15th. After 9 pm you will need to show a valid VCU identification card in order to enter the building.  The hours the library will be open are as follows:

Sunday, Dec. 4

12:00 noon to 12 midnight

Mon.-Thurs. Dec. 5-8

7:30 am to 12 midnight

Friday, Dec. 9

7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Saturday, Dec. 10

9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sunday, Dec. 11

12:00 noon to 12 midnight

Mon.-Thurs. Dec. 12-15

7:30 am to 12 midnight

Friday, Dec. 16

VCU Libraries and the Center for Clinical & Translational Research hold excellent talks on various topics that deal with researchand pull on the expertise of researchers here at VCU.  They are excellent sessions that would be of real use to anyone who is interested in research and publishing.   You just need to bring yourself, something to eat (drinks are included) and bring an interested friend if you want.  Some of the upcoming workshops are:
