Well now that the holiday break is over, it is time for the semester to start up and to get back to work.  While the semester does not start until midway through the month there are some things of interest going on that may be of interest at the library.  Also, if you are using this break from classes, etc. in order to do some research just remember that I am around if you should have any questions.  This month finds me with a schedule that is a bit more open than other months and I will be available to help, and if not one of my colleagues can help.

                                                                                                                                  

5 New McGraw-Hill Access Databases Available at TML

Tompkins-McCaw library now offers five new health sciences databases.  These databases are from the publisher McGraw-Hill and include: AccessAnesthesiology, AccessEmergencyMedicine, AccessMedicine, AccessPharmacy, and AccessSurgery. Each database contains the complete text of leading reference books, board review test materials, images and video, and an integrated drug database. In order to help users to better understand how to use these databases there a couple of open workshops being held at the library.  There are being held on the following dates:
