Dr. Claudia Thomas, the first African-American female orthopedic surgeon in the United States and author of "God Spare Life," will speak on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 5 p.m. in the Hermes A. Kontos Medical Sciences Building auditorium, followed by a reception and book-signing. This event is free and open to the public.
