Items lost from VCU Libraries will be assessed a minimum replacement fee ($80.00 for books from the collection at James Branch Cabell Library; $150.00 for books from the collection at Tompkins-McCaw Library) plus a $10 non-refundable lost item processing fee. Equipment, items from the media collection, and materials which are rare or valuable may be assessed a higher replacement fee.

VCU faculty, preceptors, members of the VCU Board of Visitors, members of the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia, postdoctoral students, VCU faculty spouses/partners, and faculty at OCLC institutions, as well as graduate students, university staff and health system employees.

Community Borrowers
VCU Friends of the Library, staff at the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park (BioTech Park), members of Richmond Academic Library Consortium, high school students in the greater Richmond area, and conference attendees.
