Bookplates
Bookplates recognize individuals who are important in our personal, cultural, and civic life. Just as these individuals continue to influence and inform us, library books placed on our shelves are a never-ending presence in our intellectual, spiritual, and personal life. It is a great privilege and honor to have such enduring recognition as part of the collections of the VCU Libraries. Bookplates are an especially nice gift to honor the graduating VCU student or retiring faculty member.
The VCU Libraries offers two bookplates featuring the facade of either James Branch Cabell Library on the Monroe Park Campus or Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences on the MCV Campus. Bookplates are $50 each. Acknowledgment of bookplate gifts are sent to the honoree following placement in the books.
