Changing the Face of Medicine Logo

Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences, VCU Libraries presents Changing the Face of Medicine, a traveling exhibition from the National Library of Medicine focuses on American women’s centuries- long struggle to gain access to medical education and to work in the medical specialty of their choice.

On display beginning June 20 - August 3, 2007

This exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours. Directions to the library are available online.

Join the VCU Libraries in honoring the many contributions of women in all fields of medical sciences.

In addition to this exhibit, Tompkins-McCaw Library celebrates several milestones this coming year including 110 years of its existence, with 75 years being within its current building on 12th Street .
