Look to the Student Skills Section on the first floor for books to help you be the best student you can be.

Topics include:

  • Study skills: test-taking, note-taking, and reading strategies
  • Writing and researching skills
  • Adjusting to college life: managing finances, time, and relationships
  • Giving presentations, interviewing skills, writing resumes, etc.

The books in the Student Skills Section are part of the reference collection and so they stay in the library; however, to find similar titles that you can check-out, note the call number and head upstairs to the 3rd and 4th floors.

Call numbers beginning A-M are on the 3rd floor; beginning N-Z are on the 4th floor.
