Fees for Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services
Service Fees:
Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services are extended to VCU employees and students currently employed by or enrolled in a VCU program. VCU Libraries offers document delivery services to some affiliates, e.g., Friends of the Libraries and Preceptors. The table below outlines the fees for each service based on status.

For VCU students, there is a $5 retrieval and delivery fee. For VCU faculty, staff and Health System Employees, there is a $5 charge for retrieval and delivery of articles and chapters from the VCU Libraries' print collections. For VCU faculty, graduate students, staff and Health System Employees, there is no charge for retrieval and delivery of copies of articles and chapters from VCU Libraries' electronic journals and book collections. No charge for retrieval and delivery of materials from storage. |

Overdue Fees:
There is a $110 minimum replacement fee for long overdue (14 days minimum) interlibrary loan materials. When long overdue interlibrary loan materials are returned, the user will still owe a $25 non-refundable overdue processing fee. The user's ILLiad record remains blocked until all overdue interlibrary loan materials are returned and fees are paid.
