• Undergraduate: 28 days
• Graduate and staff: 4 months
• Faculty: 6 months

• .25¢ per day overdue fine.

Computer software

• All VCU students, staff, and faculty: 21 days
• All others: in MRS only
• .25¢ per day overdue fine.

Compact discs and phonograph records

• All VCU students, staff, and faculty: 7 days
• All others: in MRS only
• $1 per day overdue fine.

DVDs and Videos

• VCU students and staff: 3 days
• Faculty: 7 days
• All others: in MRS only
• $1 per day overdue fine.

Limited AV Loan (16 mm films, core DVD and video collection)

• Faculty, graduate, honors and staff: 3 days
• All others: in MRS only

• All patrons: 21 days.
• .25¢ per day overdue fine.

Course Reserves

• VCU students, staff, and faculty: varies based on instructor choice (2 hr., 24 hr., 72 hr., 7 day or 4 hr. - media)
• All others: on-site only
• $1 per hour overdue fine.

General public users (who are not registered VCU Libraries borrowers) are required to complete a Scholar's Registration Form and be approved as a scholar prior to using MRS media collections and equipment. See Public Access and Use of Media Materials for more information.
