Study Spaces
VCU Libraries provides various study spaces for use by the VCU
community. When using library spaces be sure to refer to the Cabell
Library & TML
Library policies for responsible use.
James Branch Cabell Library
Group Study Area Policy- Designed to support and foster collaboration
- Located on the 3rd floor - Available for curricular
use by the VCU community
- Located in the southeast corner of the Cabell Library
- Primarily for vision impaired users - Wheelchair accessible
- Located on the 4th floor - Available for viewing rare
books and manuscript collections
- Maps of the Basement through 4th Floors
Tompkins-McCaw Library
Group Study Rooms- Located on the 2nd floor - Allows groups of two or
more to work collaboratively - through the stairwell
in the first floor old wing or elevator access is available
from Stack Level E
- Located on the 2nd floor Room 2-001 next to the LIMERC
Computer Lab
- Self-service facility available to VCU faculty, staff & students
for making media presentation materials- Located in the
basement in Room B-037
- Located on the 1st floor - Available for general study
and viewing rare and valuable materials related to the
history of health sciences in Virginia
- An interactive visit to Tompkins-McCaw Library
- Maps of the Basement through 2nd Floors
