VCU Libraries offers space for different study styles. All users bear responsibility for selecting an area in either library that best fits their needs. Users should not choose areas where their work will disturb others or where the permitted activities of others may disturb them. 1st Floor
- Allows groups of two or more to work collaboratively. Computers, plasma monitors, and anatomical models available. Located on the 2nd floor through the stairwell in the first floor old wing or elevator access is available from Stack Level E.
Special Collections & Archives Reading Room
- Available for general study and viewing rare and valuable materials related to the history of health sciences in Virginia Located on the 1st floor in Room 1-036.
2nd Floor
- Designated area for silent study. Located on the 2nd floor Room 2-001 next to the Library Instruction Classroom.
Basement
- Self-service facility available to VCU faculty, staff, & students for making media presentation materials. This room is group collaboration friendly. Located in the basement in Room B-037.
