Print, Scan, Copy and Fax
Printers—for use from your laptop or our public computers—are located in the basement and floors 1-3 of Cabell Library and on the first and basement levels at Tompkins-McCaw. Two-sided B&W printing is 12 cents per page; single-sided is 8 cents; color printing is 50 cents per page. Pay for printing with Rambucks on your VCUCard.
Both libraries offer large format printing services.
Single-sided copiers are located on the first through third floors at Cabell and on first and basement levels at Tompkins-McCaw. Copies are 10 cents per page. You can pay with Rambucks on your VCUCard.
Use Digital Senders to quickly scan and send by email on the second floor of Cabell and all floors of Tompkins-McCaw Libraries. Self-service flatbed scanning stations, which allow scanning and saving to Google Drive, email, smartphone or USB flash drive, are located on the first floor of both libraries.
For books and oversized items, a large overhead book scanner is located in Cabell Library on the fourth floor in Special Collections and Archives.
High-resolution scanning machines with Adobe Creative Suite software are in Innovative Media, third floor of Cabell, and in the Multimedia Collaboration Room, basement, and on the first floor at Tompkins-McCaw.
Cabell Library offers a public fax machine on the first floor. Faxes are $1.75 for the first page and $1 for subsequent pages. International rates are higher. You can pay with a credit or debit card.
