  • NOAH - NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant and unbiased. It is currently available both in English and Spanish.

  • American Cancer Society - Site has a useful 'Cancer Resource Center' that allows searching by specific type of cancer. Also includes information on cancer drugs, ACS publications and other websites.

  • KidsHealth.Org - Site provides interfaces for parents, teens and children.

clinical trials

  • ClinicalTrials.gov - Lists clinical trials and has a useful section explaining what clinical trials are and how they work.

dental health

  • ADA.org - Includes information on a myriad of oral health topics, an index to dentists, listing of ADA approved products and American Dental Association news.
  • Pediatric Dental Health - Site provides information on a wide array of children's dental topics, including finding a pediatric dentist.

  • Juvenile Diabetes Foundation - Information on type 1 diabetes, portraits of families dealing with the physical challenges and emotional toll, management of the disease in the school setting and other resources.

  • National Organization for Rare Disorders, Inc. - A non-governmental clearinghouse for information on rare disorders. Includes access to the Rare Disease Database, providing understandable information on over 1,100 rare disorders.

  • American Heart Association - Site includes information on arrhythmia, children & heart disease, cholesterol, diabetes, heart attack, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, treatment options. Links to statistics, publications and other resources for consumers.
