About the Multimedia Collaboration Room
The Multimedia Collaboration Room (MCR) is a self-service facility available to VCU faculty, staff, and students for multimedia computing and study. The MCR is located in the Tompkins-McCaw Library on the basement level in room B-037. Please contact the Tompkins-McCaw Library Service Desk at 828-0636 or libtmlcirc@vcu.edu for additional details.

Large Format Printer
Having your poster printed at TML just got easier! See details below for submitting your poster file to us for printing using the VCU FileDrop.
The MCR has a large format printer to support GIS research and to print posters from PowerPoint for faculty, students, and staff on the MCV Campus. Tompkins-McCaw Library’s large format printing service is now conducted by uploading your poster file to the VCU FileDrop. Simply click HERE and log-in with your VCU e-ID. Once logged-in, click on "upload file." Send it to libtmlcirc@vcu.edu and be sure to include all of the following information in the "message" section:
Your name, your department/school, your e-mail address, your poster file format, and the size you want your poster printed to (the file you submit must be sized accordingly. The maximum size we can print is 56" x 40").
Submitting your file without including all of the information listed above will delay the processing of your request.

These templates are in PowerPoint 2003 format and follow VCU Brand Standards. Feel free to use these as starting points for your poster.

Media Computers
Scanning
Station is equipped with a photo printer and photo scanner with slide scanning capability. Software includes Adobe CS4.
Audio
Station is equipped with Dual-Cassette Tape Digital Archiver and the Creative Labs Audigy ZS. Software includes Sound Forge 9.0 and Audacity.
Video
Multiple stations, equipped with a plasma television, Blu-ray player, VCR, Mac, Analog to Digital Converter, CRT Monitor, DVD/CD burner, DVD/CD Duplicator, and Microform Viewer-Scanner. Software includes Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and GarageBand.
