Shannon D. Jones | Head, Outreach Services
Shannon Jones came to the VCU Libraries in 2003 from the National Library of Medicine during the second year of her NLM Fellowship. After completing her fellowship, she was hired as the Education Services Outreach Librarian at the Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences. Shannon received an MLS from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in 2002. In addition, she holds a Masters in Information Sciences from NCCU and a Bachelor of Arts in English from North Carolina State University. Shannon is an active member of both the American Library Association and the Medical Library Association.
