Welcome to Special Collections and Archives at Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences. Special Collections and Archives houses archives, artifacts, books, manuscripts, photographs, portraits and prints related to the history of health care in Virginia. The archives for the Medical College of Virginia campus of Virginia Commonwealth University are also located in Tompkins-McCaw Library.
Materials relating to art, literature and twentieth century Richmond history, as well as the archives for the academic campus of Virginia Commonwealth University are located in Special Collections and Archives at James Branch Cabell Library.
