Special Collections and Archives at Tompkins-McCaw Library maintains a diverse collection of books, papers, and artifacts relating to the history of health science. The following exhibits highlight this collection and the accomplishments made in the field of health science.

• 75 Years on 12th Street: Charting the Growth of Tompkins-McCaw Library

  Prepared for the 75th Anniversary Year of the Tompkins-McCaw Library Building, this exhibit highlights the expansion in collections, resources, and services at the library over the decades.

• Flax Exhibit

  A small sampling of an exceptional collection of physiatry books donated to Virginia Commonwealth University by Dr. Herman Flax. Includes examples of sixteenth century illustrations and an eighteenth century sign language alphabet.
