Richmond Consortium on Patient Education
RCOPE is a professional association dedicated to enhancing the quality of patient and community health Education in Central Virginia, and the surrounding areas. Organized in 1976, RCOPE was the first consortium for Patient Education in the nation. The organizational goals include: communication, networking, wellness promotion and striving for excellence
NETWORKING AND SHARING: Meetings provide a time to exchange ideas, share resources, and discuss current trends in patient education by way of: continuing education, workshops and participation.
PROGRAMS: Educational programs are based on the needs held of the members and are held regularly during the year.
