Book Collection, Second Floor

Library advances the University's teaching and research mission with holdings
of more than 300,000 books. The online public catalog includes information
and call numbers about all books, media, and electronic sources housed
in both TML and Cabell Library on the Academic Campus. At TML, all books
on the second floor are filed by Library of Congress call number and may
be checked out to VCU affiliates or Friends of the Library. For information
on loan periods and other circulation privileges, take the "side
trip" noted below.
At the beginning of the book ranges is a special collection of oversized volumes. These items are noted as "Oversize" in the on-line catalog. On the wall near the entrance to Journal Stack E is a separate range of shelves used to temporarily hold books before they are reshelved in their proper location
