Usability Research at VCU Libraries

About the Site

The VCU Libraries is committed to the assessment of its online resources. This Web site was created by the VCU Libraries' Web team and is intended to provide the VCU Community and others with open access to Web usability studies conducted at the VCU Libraries. The Libraries conduct usability studies of their public Web site using a variety of methods such as focus groups, task analysis, prototyping, online surveys and formal usability assessments.

This wide variety of methods helps the Libraries develop a better understanding of the needs of library users and their use of digital resources.
