A day of drop-in workshops for graduate students and advanced researchers, designed to help make your research process better, faster and smarter. Topics include research poster design, science/arts collaboration, authors' rights, networking and research tips and tricks.

The event is free and open to all, but please register if you plan to join us for lunch. Parking is available for a fee in the West Broad Street, West Main Street, and West Cary Street parking decks. 12:30 p.m. Lunch with Your Librarian
Join us for lunch and informal conversations about your work with library colleagues. Please register for lunch.
1 p.m. Research Speed Networking
Practice your elevator speech and networking skills during this research version of speed dating.
2 p.m. Know Your Copyrights
Learn how to protect and leverage your rights as an author while publishing and sharing your work.
3 p.m. 30 Tips in 30 Minutes
Discover (at least) 30 research tips, tools, apps, sites and resources.
