"Making the Invisible Visible: Activating Black History through Digital Storytelling" brings together projects from Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Richmond and Umbra Search African American History for an open coversation about activating black history through digital storytelling. Utilizing online archival collections, data visualization and collaborative partnerships, "Mapping the Second KKK" to "Expanding the Ivory Tower" podcast to all aim to illuminate parts of our history that have not been widely enough accessible. The event is free and open to the public. It is strongly recommended to register beforehand to reserve a seat.
