The Friends of VCU Libraries present a luncheon featuring Richmond Times-Dispatch columnist Clare Schapiro, author of the newly published cookbook Stories and Recipes from Clare's Kitchen. The luncheon will feature recipes from her cookbook and conclude with a book sale and signing.

About the Speaker
Clare Schapiro is a Richmond Times-Dispatch cooking columnist. She writes about home-cooking triumphs and disasters and the role of food and cooking in family life. An intrepid, self-taught cook, Schapiro lives in Richmond with her husband, Jeff E. Schapiro, politics columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Schapiro writes and blogs at Clareskitchen.net from her home and garden, overlooking the James River.
