September 18, 2019 — Professional pest inspection shows library building free of bed bugs. All study areas are open.  Full article »

VCU Libraries investigating reports of bed bugs in Cabell Library

September 13, 2019 — Cabell Library employees received reports of bed bugs in two parts of the building early in the morning on Friday, September 13. Pest control specialists were called in to treat the affected areas. Subsequent inspections, including a complete building inspection with a dog and handler who specialize in detecting bed bugs, have now confirmed that Cabell Library shows no evidence of bed bugs. 2018-19 another record year for events at VCU Libraries

July 18, 2019 — Every year VCU Libraries manages somehow to break its previous event records. This year, 2018–19, the libraries hosted 594 events with a combined attendance of approximately 32,000. That’s an increase of 208 events and 6,970 attendees from the year before. Full article »
