As VCU Libraries' liaison to the Global Education Office and National Scholarship Office, Megan provides course-integrated instruction and research assistance to VCU's international students, national scholarship applicants, and first- and second-year students.
Currently a Councilor-at-Large for the American Library Association (ALA), she was a 2011 ALA Emerging Leader and in 2014-2015 served as president of the ALA New Members Round Table.
Megan’s research interests include library services for international students, andragogy in the library classroom, and the professional development of new librarians. She holds a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Randolph College, and is working towards a doctorate in educational research and evaluation.
