K.J. Ricasata, Community Health Education Center (CHEC) Assistant, holds a bachelors degree from VCU in Mass Communications with a Public Relations emphasis. In 2019, he earned a certification as a Level 1 Specialization in Consumer Health Information from the Medical Library Association. He has worked for VCU Libraries since 2005, working at James Branch Cabell Library and Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences before becoming the assistant at VCU Libraries’ health and wellness library in the Gateway building of VCU Health’s main hospital. In this role, he provides administrative and marketing/communications support for the Community Health Education Center and the Tompkins-McCaw Library.
