Patricia Dillon Sobczak, MLIS, Ph.D.(add link to CV), Collections Librarian and Assistant Professor, graduated from California State University Fullerton with a B.A. in Business
Administration. She completed an MBA from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA, earned a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, and
completed a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University,Santa Barbara, CA.
At VCU Libraries, Patricia develops collections for the School of Business, the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Policy and the department of Political Science. She researches, presents and writes in these and other disciplines, often with collaborators from within VCU and external organizations including the National Science Foundation, International Leadership Association, Virginia Library Association, Fielding Graduate University, Chapman University and The Omohundro Institute of Early American History & Culture. Patricia is also part of a team of librarians providing training and outreach to seniors at community centers
throughout the Richmond Community.
