Trudi Batiste serves as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of VCU Libraries and University Librarian and manages appointments for the dean, oversees the reception area in the administrative suite and handles a variety of operational duties.
Batiste has more than 15 years combined experience in administrative and leadership roles. Before joining VCU Libraries, she worked as an administrative assistant in University Counseling Services and as an intake coordinator in the Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity Office.
She holds a Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE) from the American Society of Administrative Professionals.
Outside of work, she is actively involved in community outreach programs and volunteers as a mentor to youth in underserved communities.
