Rachel A. Koenig

As part of the Research and Education department at Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences, Rachel A. Koenig works with faculty and students in the VCU School of Pharmacy to support their research and learning needs. She provides one-on-one consultations, in-class instruction sessions, and collaborates with students and faculty to perform high-quality research.  

Koenig’s research interests include the professionalization of librarianship, the history of medicine and pharmacy, and the scholarship of teaching, learning, and assessment.

Before joining the faculty at VCU Libraries in 2017, Rachel was Instruction and Assessment Librarian and College Archivist at the State University of New York College of Technology at Canton in Canton, NY.
