Open Chats on Data

Description

Open drop-in virtual chats for discussing research data in all its forms. Data and methodology enthusiasts are invited to come together, share work and connect during this remote-learning time. Research Data Librarian hosts.

These sessions are participant driven. Anyone interested can discuss data of any kind and help guide discussion. Students, postdocs, faculty and staff in all disciplines are welcome.

Weekly Data Wake-up
Mondays through May 4, 9–11 a.m.
Is social distancing making it hard to keep your research on track? Need to plan, vent frustrations or just share with others? Seize the data and start your week with a data chat. Qualitative, quantitative, humanistic, mixed-methods...everything is free game. Come and share weekly reflections and plan out your week's data activities.

Drop-in Data Discussions
Wednesdays through May 6, 4–6 p.m.
This unstructured data discussion empowers attendees to ask questions, share expertise and build a discussion around data interests. If you're learning about data or experiencing frustrations, then come look for support and ideas from the community. If you're an established methodologist or data enthusiast, please come share your knowledge with others.
