GIS Day

Description

In celebration of the importance of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and maps and their ability to connect people, regions and systems, VCU Libraries joins with hundreds of organizations around the world to mark GIS Day on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019. In connection with this year's VCU Common Book, Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, the speakers will discuss GIS-related work they do for the RVA Eviction Lab.

Parking is available for a fee in the West Broad Street, West Main Street and West Cary Street parking decks. If special accommodations are needed, please contact the VCU Libraries Events Office at (804) 828-0593.
