Artistic Mansions III: The Making of Mansions—Historic Houses on VCU's Monroe Park Campus

Description

Charles Brownell, Ph.D., professor emeritus of art history at VCU, and Louise Brownell, registrar emeritus at the Maryland Historical Society, return to VCU Libraries for an encore lecture on the historic architecture found in the once glittering mansions on West Franklin Street in the heart of VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. This year's lecture will be virtual, and following the lecture, the Brownells will provide clues for going exploring on self-guided walking tours in the West Franklin Street vicinity.

The event is free and open to all, but registration is required to receive the link to attend.

For questions or accommodations, please contact the VCU Libraries Development Office at libdevelop@vcu.edu.
