BrowZine: A new way to keep up with your favorite research journals

April 22, 2014

For years VCU Libraries has put the best research at your fingertips with its huge collection of online journals. Now, a new application called BrowZine allows you to browse, read and monitor many of the library’s scholarly journals -- all in a format optimized for your iPad or Android tablet. Built to accompany your searching needs, items found in BrowZine can easily be synced up with Zotero, Mendeley, RefWorks, Dropbox or several other services to help keep all of your information together in one place.

With BrowZine, you can:

  • Browse and read journals by subject, easily review tables of contents, and download full articles.
  • Create your own bookshelf and be notified when new articles are published.
  • Save articles for off-line reading or export to social media or reference management services.

Getting started is easy. From your tablet, find BrowZine in the App store and download it for free. When initially launching BrowZine, select Virginia Commonwealth University from the drop down list. Enter your VCU eID and password and you're in.

To learn more and start using BrowZine today, visit the BrowZine Research Guide or contact librarians or with questions.
