Grad fest set for Aug. 23

Start strong and shine all year is the theme for Grad Fest, Wednesday, Aug. 23. The drop-in open house will be held 2 to 4 p.m. at James Branch Cabell Library (Lecture Hall, Room 303). So we can prepare refreshments and materials, please register. 

The event provides an overview of research services especially for graduate students. Tour library spaces and enjoy refreshments. Talk to experts about publishing, innovative media, research data management and more resources for your work on campus. Come any time and stay as long as you want to network, converse, hang out and converse with grad school colleagues and others.  

All graduate students and also people applying to graduate study for summer or fall 2017 are welcome to this overview of library services.  

Partners for this event are the VCU Graduate School, the Writing Center, VCU IT Support Center, VCU Career Services and the Institutional Research Board.
