VCU Libraries hosts these one-hour sessions that cover textbook costs and open textbooks as an affordable alternative. After the workshop, attendees can receive a $200 stipend by writing a short review of a textbook from the Open Textbook Network Library

Open Textbook Workshop dates:

  • Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, noon-1 p.m., James Branch Cabell Library, Room 205. Feel free to bring your lunch. [Registration closed for this session.]
  • Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, 2-3 p.m., James Branch Cabell Library, Room 205
  • Tuesday, March 3, 2020, 10-11 a.m., James Branch Cabell Library, Room 205

Learn more, sign up to attend, and apply to be considered for a $200 professional development stipend for your workshop participation and textbook review. All faculty are invited to attend a workshop regardless of stipend eligibility.

Please indicate interest in attending a workshop by Friday, Jan. 24.
