2021-22 survey measures use of libraries services, influences future funding

September 10, 2021

Between September 2021 and September 2022, VCU will be conducting in-person and online surveys to assess use of VCU Libraries services and resources. The university will use the data to meet federal reporting requirements and to establish funding allocations.

The survey will be conducted during randomly selected two-hour periods, and will be distributed in-person at James Branch Cabell Library and the Health Sciences Library or online via a web form. Completing the survey should take less than five minutes. If you enter Cabell Library or the Health Sciences Library during a survey period, you will be provided a paper survey and asked to return it before you leave. If you use online library resources during a two-hour web survey period, you will be routed to the survey automatically. After you complete the survey you will be connected to the resource you requested.

All survey responses are anonymous.

Please direct any questions to Associate Dean of Libraries and Director of the Health Sciences Library Teresa L. Knott.
