Jimmy Ghaphery

Jimmy Ghaphery leads the Scholarly Communications and Publishing division responsible for enriching scholarship, learning, and clinical care through engagement with contemporary research issues and technology. He has been part of VCU Libraries since 1993 with various responsibilities including instruction, information technology, facilities, and administration.

The Scholarly Communications and Publishing division provides the VCU community with hardware, software, spaces and expertise to help the VCU community produce creative work of all kinds through the Workshop; web technologies to discover and access library resources; copyright and open access publishing consultation; data management and data sharing guidance; wide dissemination of VCU scholarly and creative expression through VCU Publishing; and the Open and Affordable Course Content Initiative.
