Roy Brown

At Health Sciences Library, Roy Brown serves as liaison to the nurses of VCU Health and the VCU School of Nursing. As part of this work, he serves on VCU Health and on the School of Nursing’s evidence-based practice and research committees. He also supports the VCU Health Nurse Residency and the Nursing Interns and Scholars Programs by working closely with administrators overseeing the program as well as with participants.  

Brown has presented on his work, including successful EBP tools and strategies, at the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Conference, the ANCC Pathways to Excellence Conference and other state and regional nursing conferences.

Brown served as Interim Co-Head of the Research and Education Department for 2020-2021.
