As Arts Collections Librarian, Emily Davis Winthrop handles the development and management of resources for the research, learning and creation in the School of the Arts with the exclusion of the Department of Music.

She also is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Art History.

Winthrop's research interests in librarianship focus on collection strategies, diversity in collections and the scholarly record in the 21st century. Winthrop’s art history research explores late 19th and early 20th century design with a focus on gender theories.
